Good Things Come in Threes!

One more month left to go until our little bundle arrives! Things are getting tight and cozy in our apartment with Owen's necessities piling up everywhere. Its hard to imagine any of these things every being used, but people assure me that they will be and sooner than I can imagine. In the meantime we are preparing for Matthew's upcoming graduation from BYU-Idaho on April 9th and 10th! We have been anticipating this day for years, and can hardly believe we will be moving away from Rexburg in a few short months! It has been a good place to live, but the need for a climate with more than 2 weeks of summer and a location with a wider shopping variety other than Wal-Mart is being greatly anticipated (we've already started packing). And this new and exciting location is going to be no where else other than Salt Lake City, Utah..okay so we're only moving 3 hours away. But who could ever imagine how much change in lifestyle can take place with just a few short hours! I mean it averages 15 degrees warmer, HUGE variety of shopping, and much more to do on a Friday night other than check the red box outside Broulims grocery store with the rest of the BYU-Idaho student body. Oh I suppose you want to know why we've chosen this awesome location, well Matthew got accepted to the Creighton School of Dentistry..I know what your thinking.."Well thats in Omaha, NE..Why would they want to live in SLC, maybe he likes a long comute" but its actually because Creighton has a special program set up with Utah residents called the RDEP program, and they choose 20 Utah residents to go through it every year, and you do your first year of dental school at the U of U in SLC then move out to Omaha the next year to finish your last 3 years there. This is a very competitive program to get into so we are very greatful for this opprotunity, we will be able to have "in-state" tuition because of the program and not mention go to a very good school.
So to say the least we have much to look forward to in the next few months and I'll try to keep you updated, keeping in mind the last time I updated our blog was a year ago..but we will be optomistic! :D
