Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Kandace and a tall, dark, and handsome man named Matt who were unaware of how suddenly their lives would change just because they decided to go rollerskating on the same night. It was a Monday night at BYU-Idaho in March of 2006. A girl in Kandace's ward told Matt that he should talk to Kandace and proceeded then to tell Kandace the same thing about Matt. (Funny thing is, neither one of them even new this person..possibly a fairy in disquise) So neither one of them thought much of this advice, and proceeded to have fun amongst their individual friends, Matt said later that Kandace was with guys the whole night so he never felt like he could approach her..but Kandace claims that Matt was also busy skating with other girls so she couldn't talk to him either. Well before you worry how the story ends, Matt finally got the chance to skate up behind Kandace when she was alone and introduce himself! Kandace fell head over hills literally for Matt on her skates and claimed that they had better hold hands so that she wouldn't fall again! :D Matt ended up walking Kandace home and getting her phone number, after realizing that they couldn't live without eachother they got married on September 1, 2006 in Nauvoo, IL and are still living happily ever after, and have a baby prince on the way!
